Entering Data

When you enter data, ListTech helps you in several different ways. Each entry has a place to type a value, naturally. While you're typing, ListTech compares what you've entered against the saved values to see if it can find a match. If it does, it will present the Suggestion Bar, a wide button that appears below the field with one or more choices.
If the bar contains the text you're entering, just tap it, and it will be entered in the blank. If there are more choices than will fit on the bar, the buttons << and >> will appear to allow scrolling so you can see the other choices. The Suggestion Bar is available for any blank that has a button label to its left.
The Button Label is another way ListTech helps you enter data. If you tap it, you will see a new screen containing all of the previously entered values for the entry. Touch the one you want, and ListTech will fill in the blank for you. If you're entering an item name, it will fill in the category as well.
One nice feature is the Next button, which you will find at the top of the screen for entering a new item. After you enter an item, if you tap Next, the item will be added to the list and the form will be reset to enter the next item. It leaves the category field filled in from the previous item, in case you are building your list according to the categories of items.
That's about it. Give it a try and see how productive you can be with ListTech!
