What's New in 2.0
- Dated Lists
Items can have dates, based on the type of the list. Color coding is used to indicate when a due date is approaching, and an App badge indicates pending due dates on the home screen.
- Long lists now have indexes
This makes navigating the lists easier.
- Settings are now in the App
You can change the settings from a screen in the App rather than having to exit and go to Apple's Settings App.
- Importing a list is easier
ListTech now uses a custom URL handler to launch the App and begin the import process.
- Suggestion bar improvements
The suggestion bar now uses scrolling buttons when there are too many choices to fit on the bar at one time. The bar now also appears in all screens that permit entry of item and category names. Initialization is faster too.
- Hide checked items
You can now hide items in a list. This provides an alternative to removing them from the list after they are checked off. This way, you can bring them back in just a few taps.
- Email sent from within the App
After you are done sending an Email, control now returns to ListTech so you don't have to launch the App again.
- No-category option
If you don't want to use categories for the items in your lists, you can disable them entirely.
- Page to hide/show lists
This makes it much easier to manage hidden lists. You no longer have to unhide all of the lists at once.
- Reorder main list
You can change the order of the lists in the main screen.
- Delete vs. Remove
You now have a choice when you remove an item from a list. It can be removed and saved for future use, as in Version 1, or it can be deleted permanantly. Permanent deletion is more often used for To-Do lists, where saving is more often used for shopping lists.
- Fixed reorder bug
Reordering a list sometimes caused the first item in the list to disappear.
- Fixed empty types screen bug
Under some circumstances, pressing the Type button in the info screen for a list didn't show any types.
